Enjoy staying on our scenic organic flower farm . This 2 bedroom carriage house suite is beautifully appointed with a vintage vibe and original artwork. Cozy up in front of a large fireplace and retire to a romantic bedroom. Transport yourself away from your busy life to a place where you have room to breathe, wandering through our gorgeous gardens. Sit and enjoy a glass of wine while sitting by our pond and be entertained by our farm animals. Not suitable for children under 12. The suite is 800 square feet with a large sitting area and 2 spacious bedrooms. It is a carriage house suite (on top of our large 3 car garage) It has its own entry and you proceed up a flight of stairs. There is a beautiful courtyard with views of the sunset and country side for your use should you wish to sit outside. You are also welcome to sit by the pond, enjoy our gorgeous gardens, and experience farm life at its best. The space was just constructed and all the things that have to work well are new but we decorated it using items we found at antique shops and with Barb's original art. It delights every visitor that enters it and has been featured in magazines. You enter the house to the right of the garage and proceed up the stairs to your suite. You are welcome to go anywhere on the farm except in the farm buildings unless accompanied by one of us as we are working farm and our insurance does not allow unsupervised entry. We have a small dairy goat herd that plays outside, chickens that wander about and heritage ducks and geese who believe they own the property. You are coming to our farm where we live and work but your suite is self contained and private. We are happy to talk with you but we will leave it up to you to initiate that. We are surrounded by many farms, wineries and are 3 km from Aldergrove and all the amenities you will need for your stay. Twenty minutes in either direction takes you to everything that Langley or Abbotsford has to offer. There are several wineries to visit within a short drive and Vancouver is less than an hour away if you want an urban excursion. The Fraser Valley also has many hiking trails, lakes and parks to visit and is surrounded by mountains. The best way to navigate our area is by car or bike however if you are up to walking 1 km to the bus you can catch a ride to the skytrain and then head into Vancouver. Free parking is abundant in our town as well as in the larger centers of Langley and Abbotsford. We are located less than 3 km from a shopping centre with a large grocery store, liquor store, fast food restaurants as well as gas stations. The property is rural and dark at night. It is best to wear comfortable footwear when walking around the farm, there is uneven ground and mud and dust are the norm, not the exception. The property has many spots to sit and contemplate life, enjoy nature and just sit and breathe. We have a firepit area in front of the pond which you are welcome to use if you bring firewood with you however it is dependent on forest fire season and the levels of dryness. You must check with us first and we will check on your behalf.
